Media Engagement Specialist
Suzi discovered her passion for coordinating innovative programs when she was first introduced to the event world in 1998, working for Northern Arizona University’s Campus Events & Activities department. Combining a growing interest in live events with her love for fitness and outdoor adventure, she went to work as a Programmer for the City of Glendale (AZ) Parks and Recreation Department, and then served as the Fitness Coordinator for the Department of Defense and United States Army Garrison, Baumholder, Germany. Upon returning to the States, she spent time in the non-profit sector as a Health & Fitness Coordinator for the Valley of the Sun YMCA and then Senior Trainer at the YMCA of Elkhart County. From there, Suzi moved to Texas where she worked with the Salado Chamber of Commerce, managed the City of Harker Heights Activities Center and served on the Board of Directors of a Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate.
Suzi joined Enliven in October 2009, first serving as a PA, handling event logistical support, booking crew travel, accommodations, maintaining project softwares and coordinating administrative duties associated with shows. On site, Suzi oversaw speaker presentation readiness and content delivery, offering technical support between executive presenters, their staffs and the production team. Then in 2012, she became a Production Manager, ensuring that client needs and expectations, from concept to delivery, were met and exceeded. In 2015, Suzi transitioned to Digital Media Manager, leading our design team in the development and implementation of our Enliven-powered, customizable mobile meeting apps and guiding several of our clients in their live event social media engagement strategies.
Suzi graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Recreation & Tourism Management. When she is not on working, Suzi, her husband Jim, daughter Katie and two pups take full advantage of the sunshine with beautiful back country hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and camping. She is full of energy and infamously known for using too many exclamation points!!
