Ian McElfish



Since launching Enliven Production Group over fifteen years ago, Ian has been actively involved in almost every one of the company's almost 400 event productions to date, but this should come as no surprise to those who know him best.  He began his career in the production and hospitality industry as a technical director / stage manager on board what was the world's only "5 star, 5 diamond" cruise ship.  Eventually making his way back to land, he cut his teeth designing live shows in the Ritz-Carlton system for a demanding and high-profile client base.  Recognizing the impact of merging media and technologies, Ian formed Enliven in 2002 to help clients safely navigate the shifting seas of meeting production.

Many of Ian’s most important contributions to a client meeting may often go unseen, but they are never un-appreciated.  His skills in stage design, technical design and event integration, lighting design, video projection and spatial room layout are second to none and, with an intuitive sense of computers and technologies, his ability to integrate new technologies into live events is invaluable to many of Enliven’s most sophisticated and forward thinking clients, including Credit Suisse, Stifel Nicolaus, SERENA Software, WSGR, BNP Paribas / Bank of the West and JMP Securities.

Despite an increasingly demanding work schedule, Ian makes time for his family (including his wife Denise, two daughters and of course Jack the family dog) and is an avid cycling, skiing and water sports enthusiast.
