From birth it was inevitable that Chuck Smith would one day become involved with event production. His father spent more than 50 years in the TV and movie industries and his mother was a TV backdrop artist. This appreciation for production combined with art makes him a perfect fit for Enliven Production Group and the company’s commitment to professionalism and creativity.
Chuck began his audio-visual journey nearly three decades ago when he started as an audio-visual technician for AVA/Sound Stage (now PSAV). He was quickly promoted to national account executive. In this role he produced and sold large scale events for a list of distinguished clients, including Porsche, Ford Motor Company, Nomura Securities, Würth Group, Harley Davidson, NBC, Fox, Nike, Estee Lauder and Phelps Dodge. Chuck’s work with these types of clients established his commitment to exceptional service and strategic planning.
Before joining Enliven, Chuck was the senior vice president of sales for a lighting manufacturing company and before that he was the national sales manager for an audio and AV interface products company. He oversaw the sales direction in the U.S. and Canada for both, taking the businesses into new markets while building strong customer relationships. His direct knowledge and experience in business development and strategic sales only serves to enhance Enliven’s commitment to professionalism, relationships and imagination.
Chuck is a music enthusiast and plays the piano/keyboard, regularly composing and recording music. He enjoys spending time with his wife cooking, fishing, hiking and mountain biking as well as time with friends and family.
